Mammaplastic
Breast sculpting restores the breasts to their original shape, improving sagging and laxity.
This procedure is recommended for clients desiring firm and ideally shaped breasts at any age. Changes in breast shape often occur after childbirth and subsequent breastfeeding, but they can also result from significant weight loss. Additionally, these changes are associated with the aging process and hormonal fluctuations.
Surgical solution – mammaplasty or breast sculpting addresses undesired shape, volume, or sagging. Its aim is to lift, firm, reposition, and overall enhance the shape of sagging breasts.
If breast volume needs to be reduced as well, we proceed with a reductive mammaplasty, where a portion of breast tissue is removed.
Procedure Overview:
During a consultation with the surgeon, you’ll decide on the desired breast size. The procedure itself lasts 2-3 hours, depending on the extent and complexity of the surgery. In most cases, drains are inserted to remove bodily fluids, and these are typically left in for 1-2 days. The duration of hospitalization depends on this factor.
Following an initial consultation with the client, we begin by making an incision around the areola and then vertically downward. Excess skin is removed, and the areolas are repositioned upwards to the center of the newly shaped breasts. The size of the areolas is often adjusted in cases of volume reduction. In the event of volume reduction, a portion of the breast gland is reduced. The entire procedure is performed under general anesthesia and typically takes about 2-3 hours.
The patient stays at the clinic for an additional day and is then discharged for home care, where it is necessary to adhere to a 14-day period of rest. We conduct a follow-up and dressing change at the clinic 3 to 5 days after discharge
Postoperative Care:
- We use absorbable stitches.
- Compression garments for 6-8 weeks.
- Work leave – approximately 2-3 weeks.
- Resumption of sports and sauna activities – after 3 months.
