Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the human body. It is found in the intercellular matrix, providing skin hydration, and is also present in our eyes and as part of joint tissue. Hyaluronic acid is of non-animal origin and is biodegradable, which means it does not cause allergic reactions. It effectively prevents collagen deposition and promotes scarless tissue healing. In joints, this acid serves as a lubricant and shock absorber thanks to its properties.

The application of hyaluronic acid is performed under local anesthesia with an anesthetic cream applied to the treated area 20-40 minutes before the procedure. The filler material is injected with a thin needle or cannula, depending on the injection site. The duration of the effect is individual, ranging from 9 to 15 months.
